Here's a quick tutorial on how to wrap a Hershey candy bar using my
candy wrappers.
WHAT YOU NEED:
1. Hershey candy bar (1.55 oz)
2.
Candy wrapper3. Paper cutter
4. Tape or glue runner
Ok, now, let's begin!
1. PRINT your design on a full sheet of paper. *I personally use a lightweight photo paper. The gloss of the paper gives them a very professional and sleek appearance, but plain printer paper or even cardstock can also be used.
2. CUT the wrapper. Cut around the edges of the template (there will be a faint gray line where you are supposed to cut). *Here it is best to use a paper cutter like the one below. It makes cutting a breeze (especially if you're cutting a lot of these! Oh, let's say for a hundred or so wedding guests!) and makes awesome cuts. You can also use scissors if you have a steady hand.

3. WRAP. Once you have cut your template, place it on top of your candy bar and make sure the design on the "front" of the wrapper is centered (both horizontally and vertically) over the front of the candy bar. The design should fit just perfect.
TIP: Make sure you are working on a flat surface for this next part. I will not be responsible for broken Hershey bars that you are forced to eat :-)Now, holding the template in place, flip both the wrapper and candy bar over. If the wrappers shifts a little, that's ok. . . you can re-adjust before you glue.

It's now time to "overwrap" your bar. I like to start by folding over the shorter flap first.

Next, fold the longer side to the middle of the wrapper. It should be long enough to cover the shorter flap. Make sure the flaps are snuggly wrapped around the bar.
Before taping your wrapper in place, carefully hold the wrapper and bar together and turn it over to take a peek and make sure the design is still centered on the front of the bar. If it is, it's time to glue!

5. GLUE. I like to use a "tape/glue runner" (like those used by scrapbookers). They are the easiest to work with when doing a project like this. However, you could also use double sided tape.
Ok, now, gently release your death grip from the candy bar and let the two flaps fall open.

Run your tape runner along the inside length of the shorter flap (see above) and along BOTH edges of the wrapper (see below).

Fold the shorter flap back onto the bar and press firmly. Now, run the glue along the longer flap, fold over and press firmly. (see below)

Using your fingers press the two sides/edges of the wrapper together to make sure they seal.
You're done!!! While this may seem like an exhaustive process, it really goes quick once you get your groove on. Try one for your next event. You'll be guaranteed to get compliments on them.
